Replacement Megaflo HE Cold Water Control Valve

The Heatrae Sadia 95605021 Cold Water Control Valve is a genuine replacement multibloc valve for compatible Megaflo HE unvented hot water cylinders. It replaces the obsolete Heatrae Sadia part number 95605869.

The valve regulates the incoming mains water supply before it enters the cylinder. It incorporates pressure reduction, a water strainer, an isolating valve and a balanced cold-water take-off within a compact valve body.

Replacement for Obsolete Part 95605869

Part number 95605021 is the replacement for the older 95605869 cold water control valve used on selected Megaflo HE cylinders. The replacement may differ in appearance or dimensions from the original component, so it should be fitted according to the current manufacturer’s instructions rather than copied solely from the orientation of the old valve.

Before ordering, check the number on the existing valve and the cylinder data label. Megaflo cylinders have been produced in several generations, and later models may use a different inlet control assembly.

Installation Information

This component forms part of an unvented hot water system and must be installed by a suitably qualified engineer. The cold water supply and cylinder must be safely isolated and depressurised before the existing valve is removed.

Following installation, the engineer should check the regulated pressure, flow direction, balanced cold-water connection and all joints for correct operation and leaks. The cylinder’s expansion relief valve and discharge arrangement must also remain correctly installed, unobstructed and operational.
