Genuine Heatrae Sadia 95970150 54kW three-phase immersion heater for compatible Megaflo Commercial and Commercial Flexistor calorifiers.

This complete commercial immersion heater assembly provides a powerful 54kW auxiliary or direct electric heat source for selected Megaflo commercial hot-water cylinders. It is designed for a 400V three-phase electrical supply and is suitable for installations with substantial hot-water demand.

The immersion heater is fitted with temperature-control and non-self-resetting thermal cut-out protection. External contactors and other installation controls are required and are not supplied with the immersion heater.

Compatibility

Part 95970150 is used with selected Megaflo Commercial and Megaflo Commercial Flexistor cylinders. Suitability depends on the cylinder model, capacity and heater configuration.

Please check the cylinder data plate and the part number on the existing immersion heater before ordering. If the original part number is different or no longer readable, please send us a clear photograph of the cylinder data plate and existing heater through our contact page.

This 54kW model must not be confused with the lower-output immersion heaters fitted to domestic Megaflo cylinders.

Gasket and Installation Components

The immersion-heater flange must be installed with a serviceable sealing gasket. If a new gasket is not supplied with the heater, the corresponding commercial immersion-heater gasket should be ordered separately.

External contactors, electrical protection equipment and installation wiring are not included. Existing fixing hardware should only be reused if it remains undamaged and suitable for safe reinstallation.

Installation Information

This is a high-powered three-phase commercial component. Installation, electrical connection and commissioning must be completed by appropriately qualified engineers who are competent to work on three-phase electrical systems and unvented hot-water equipment.

The calorifier must be drained below the immersion-heater opening before removal. The gasket face should be inspected and cleaned, and the securing fixings tightened evenly to the manufacturer’s specified torque. The immersion heater must not be energised until the cylinder has been completely refilled, vented and checked for leaks.
